 (f) Make sure the control wheel forces are symmetrical.
 1)  If the control wheel force is not symmetrical by a ratio of 2 to 1 or more, measure the forces: a) Use a push-pull scale to push down on the handgrip
 knobs of the control wheel. b) Turn the control wheel clockwise 30 degrees. c) Write down the control wheel force. d) Turn the control wheel counterclockwise 30 degrees. e) Write down the control wheel force.

Release the pressure from hydraulic systems A and B (AMM 27-11-00/201).

 (b)  
Adjust the tab control rods (AMM 27-09-71/501).

 AILERONS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the ailerons.
 B.  The aileron assembly has the aileron, balance tab, and balance panel.
 C.  It is not necessary to use a new balance tab and balance panel for the replacement of a spare aileron. It is necessary to use the same number of the adjust weights for the balance tab as on the tab data plate.
 D.  The graphite/composite ailerons and the aluminum/fiberglass ailerons are interchangeable only as pairs of the same type. An aluminum/fiberglass aileron on one wing with a graphite/composite aileron on the opposite wing is not a permitted configuration.
