WARNING: PRESSURIZATION OF AILERON HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS A AND B WILL SUPPLY
_______ POWER TO THE FLAPS, GROUND SPOILERS, FLIGHT SPOILERS, RUDDER AND ELEVATOR SYSTEMS. MAKE SURE YOU ISOLATE THE SYSTEMS AND CONTROLS WHICH MUST NOT OPERATE TO PREVENT MOVEMENT OF COMPONENTS WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Make sure the hydraulic reservoirs are full (Ref 12-12-00/301).

Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
(a)
P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) FLT CONT SHUTOFF VALVES

Set the parking brake.

(5)
Install the ground lock assembly in the nose gear (Ref
32-00-01/201).

(6)
Set the ELEC 2, HYD PUMPS A or the ELEC 1, HYD PUMPS B switches on the forward overhead panel to ON.

(7)
Set the FLT CONTROL A and B switches on the forward overhead panel to ON.
NOTE: To pressurize system A or B separately, set the applicable

FLT CONTROL A or B switch.

(8)
Do the maintenance that made it necessary to pressurize the
hydraulic systems.

Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

Set the ELEC 2, HYD PUMPS A or the ELEC 1, HYD PUMPS B switches on the forward overhead panel to OFF.
(2)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Remove the Pressure from Aileron Hydraulic Systems A and B

Set the FLT CONTROL A and B switches on the forward overhead panel to OFF.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) FLT CONT SHUTOFF VALVES

Set the ELEC 2, HYD PUMPS A or the ELEC 1 HYD PUMPS B switches on the forward overhead panel to OFF.

Operate the rudder pedals to decrease the remaining hydraulic system pressure.

If you move the hydraulic connections, remove the pressure from hydraulic systems A and B (AMM 29-09-00/201).

(6)
Install the flight control lock assembly (Fig. 202).
(a)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the flight controls shutoff valve at the system A flight controls hydraulic module in the left wheel well.
(b)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the flight controls shutoff valve at the system B flight controls hydraulic module in the right wheel well.
