Procedure
S 014-001
(1)
Remove the access panels on the lower wing surface at the balance panel.
S 034-047
(2)
Disconnected the aileron from the balance panel:
(a)
Remove the retaining bolts of the aft balance panel seal (Fig. 402).
(b)
Remove the retaining strip.
(c)
Remove the retainer bolt and the hinge pins from the aft balance panel hinge.
S 014-017

Remove the aileron access panels at the four hinge locations (Fig. 406).
S 024-018

Remove the aileron:
(a)
Lift up the aileron trailing edge.
(b)
Remove the attach bolt of the aileron control rod (Fig. 404).
(c)
Disconnect the balance tab pushrods from the wing hinge fitting (Fig. 401).
(d)
Disconnect the bonding jumpers at number 1 and 4 hinge locations.
(e)
Hold the aileron.
(f)
Remove the cotter pins and nuts from the hinge bolts at the four hinge locations.
(g)
Remove the hinge bolts.

(h) Remove the aileron from the wing.
