2) Continue to turn the control wheel to 20 degrees.
a) Make sure the necessary force is not more than 200
pound-inches torque or 33.8 pounds.
3) Continue to turn the control wheel to 40 degrees.
a) Make sure the necessary force is not more than 256
pound-inches torque or 39.4 pounds.
4) Continue to turn the control wheel to 75 degrees.
a) Make sure the necessary force is not more than 310
pound-inches torque or 47.7 pounds.
5) Do steps 1) thru 4) again in the counterclockwise
direction.

Turn the captain's control wheel more than 87 degrees counterclockwise from the neutral position. 1) Make sure the left aileron moves up and the right aileron
moves down in the specified limit (Fig. 502).

Turn the captain's control wheel more than 87 degrees clockwise from the neutral position. 1) Make sure the left aileron moves down and the right aileron
moves up in the limit shown in Fig. 502.
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Close the forward access door.

Remove the control wheel protractor and protractor mount from the aileron control wheel.

Remove the control wheel torque and force test adapter from the aileron control wheel.

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the task to do an inspection of the aileron control wheel drum.
B. The procedure does not include instructions for access, removal, or replacement of the component after inspection of the worn areas. Refer to the Aileron Control Wheel Drum - Removal/Installation for instructions to do these tasks.
