Prepare for Test
 S 825-050
 (1)  
Adjust the applicable system or systems before the flight test if you get these conditions:

 (a)  
The aileron trim is more than 3/4 unit

 (b)
The rudder trim is more than 1/2 unit.Do a Test for Flight Control Forces that are not Symmetrical

 (1)  
Before you do the flight test, do the subsequent checks:

 (a)  
Make sure the airspeed shown is 250 knots.

 (b)  
Make sure the altitude is 5000 feet above the ground level or higher.

 (c)  
Make sure N1 is equal for the two engines.

 (d)  
Make sure the wing fuel loads are equal.

 (e)  
Make sure the aileron trim is 3/4 unit or less.

 (f)  
Make sure the rudder trim is 1/2 unit or less.

 (g)  
Make sure the flaps are up.

 (h)  
Make sure all persons are seated.

 (2)  
Move the control wheel to the neutral position.

 (3)  
Set the spoiler switches A and B to OFF.

 (4)  
Set the FLT CONTROL B switch to ON.

Make sure that the control forces and operation do not change.

 Do these steps to find and correct asymmetrical flight control forces:

 (a)  
Trim the airplane using the rudder to keep wings level flight.

 (b)  
Make sure that the rudder trim does not change by more than 2 units. 1) If the change is more than 2 units, adjust the imput rod of

 the standby rudder actuator (AMM 27-21-00/501). 2) If the standby rudder is in adjustment, do a check of the adjustment of the aileron tabs (AMM 27-11-00/501).

 (c)  
Make a note if there is a roll tendency.

 (d)  
Turn the control wheel right 30 degrees.

 (e)  
Turn the control wheel left 30 degrees.
