1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the task to do the inspection of the balance panel and seals.
B. The procedure does not include instructions for access, removal, or replacement of the component after inspection of the worn areas. Refer to the Balance Panel and Seals - Removal/Installation for instructions to do these tasks.

(1)
Do this task: "Balance Panel and Seals Removal" (Ref 27-11-31/401).

(2)
Do a check of the balance panel and seals (Fig. 601):
(a)
Remove the parts to be measured.
(b)
Measure the dimensions of these parts.
(c)
Compare the part dimensions to the limit dimensions.
(d)
If the part dimension is out of tolerance, replace the part.
(e)
Install all the parts removed to do the inspection.
