Do the Test of the Flight Controls Hydraulic Modular Packages

(1)
Do the test of the modular package:
(a)
Set the two FLT CONTROL switches on the flight controls panel, P5-3, to the ON position.
(b)
Set the two SPOILER switches on the flight controls panel, P5-3, to the ON position.

Make sure that the manual override levers of the two valve motors on the two modular packages are in POSITION 1.
(d)
Operate the aileron control wheel , control column, and rudder pedal sets to bleed the hydraulic system.
(e)
Make sure that there is no leakage of hydraulic fluid at the modular packages.
(f)
Set the two SPOILER switches to the OFF position.
(g)
Make sure that the manual override lever of the left valve motor on the two modular packages is in POSITION 2.
(h)
Turn the aileron control wheel.
(i)
Make sure that the spoilers do not operate.
(j)
Set the two FLT CONTROL switches to the OFF position.
(k)
Make sure that the manual override lever of the right valve motor on the two modular packages is in POSITION 2.
(l)
Make sure that the two LOW PRESSURE warning lights on the flight controls panel, P5-3, come on.
(m)
Set the two FLT CONTROLS switches to the ON position.
(n)
Make sure that the LOW PRESSURE warning lights go off.
(o)
Set the two SPOILER switches to the ON position.

Do this task to depressurize hydraulic systems A and B: "Hydraulic System A, B or Standby Depressurization" (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Make sure the LOW PRESSURE lights come on.

(4)
Make sure the master warning and caution lights and the flight controls warning light come on.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

1. General_______
A. There are four tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the flight control shutoff valve (the valve and the valve motor). There is also a task for the removal and a task for the installation of the motor of the flight controls shutoff valve.
