 1)  Make sure the force necessary to turn the captain's control wheel is not more than 800 pound-inches or 123 pounds.

 (g)  
Turn the first officer's control wheel counterclockwise 80 degrees and hold.

 (h)  
Turn the captain's control wheel clockwise 130 degrees.

 E.  Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Release pressure from hydraulic systems A and B (AMM 27-11-00/201).

 (2)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 6.  Flight Test to Find and Correct Asymmetrical Flight Control Forces__________________________________________________________________
 A. General
_______
 (1)  
An aileron system flight test is necessary after the maintenance procedures that follow:

 (a)  
Installation of a replacement aileron (or ailerons).

 (b)  
Installation of an aileron which was on-jig rebalanced (see structural repair manual, chapter 51, for maintenance actions which require aileron on-jig rebalancing).

 (c)  
Removal or replacement of the aileron front spar hinge bearing nearest the tab control rods.

 (d)  
Installation of a replacement aileron front spar hinge bearing support fitting.


 NOTE: Installation of new aileron hinge bearings (except
____ the one nearest the tab control rods) does not make a flight test necessary if the original bearing support fittings are installed in their original locations.
 (e)  Installation of a replacement aileron rear spar tab hinge bearing support fitting.
 NOTE: Installation of new tab hinge bearings does not make a
____ flight test necessary if the original bearing support fittings are installed in their original locations.
 (f)  
Installation of a replacement tab or re-installation of a repaired tab having a non-flush surface patch.

 (g)  
Installation of a replacement aileron tab front spar hinge.

 (h)  
Installation of replacement bushings on the aileron tab front spar hinge nearest the tab control rods.

 (i)  
Installation of replacement tab control rods.


 NOTE: For each aileron tab, if both control rods are adjusted,
____ then flight test is necessary.
 If only one rod is adjusted and you can prove that the remaining rod has not been replaced, or adjusted since the last flight test, then no flight test is necessary.
 If only one rod is adjusted and you can not prove that the remaining rod has not been replaced or adjusted since the last flight test, then flight test is necessary.
