2. Trailing Edge Flaps for FLAPS UP Discrepancy Adjustment

A. General
(1)
This procedure contains instructions for the adjustment of the trailing edge flaps to keep a straight and level flight without high aileron trim. All lateral control surfaces, flaps, and rudder are correctly adjusted for this adjustment.
(2)
You can do more than one of the adjustments to correct for lateral trim problems. The charts shown in these tasks are for single adjustments. The results shown in the charts can be added together if you do multiple adjustments.

THE CLEARANCES AT THE LEFT AND RIGHT OUTBOARD FLAPS 1. THE INBD FLAP TE WILL BE SYMMETRICAL WILL BE EQUAL IN 0.12 INCH (3.05 mm) OR LESS. THE WITH THE OPPOSITE INBD CLEARANCES AT THE LEFT AND RIGHT INBOARD FLAPS WILL FLAP TE IN 0.10 INCH (2.54 mm) OR LESS. BE EQUAL IN 0.12 INCH (3.05 mm) OR LESS. MANUALLY 2. THE OUTBD FLAP TE WILL BE PULL DOWN ON THE AFT FLAP WITH APPROXIMATELY SYMMETRICAL WITH THE OPPOSITE OUTBD 100 LBS (45.36 Kg) BEFORE YOU MEASURE THE DISTANCES. FLAP TE IN 0.10 INCH (2.54 mm) OR LESS.
