Install the Compensator Cartridge

Lubricate the compensator cartridge O-rings with hydraulic fluid or assembly lubricant.

(2)
Install the compensator cartridge (Fig. 401):
(a)
Install the O-rings on the compensator cartridge.
(b)
Carefully set the valve into the valve hole of the modular package housing.
(c)
Install the compensator cartridge on the modular package.
(d)
Tighten the compensator cartridge by hand.
(e)
Install the lockwire.

Do this task: "Hydraulic Reservoir Pressurization" (AMM 29-09-00/201).

Do this task to pressurize hydraulic systems A and B: "Hydraulic System A, B or Standby Pressurization" (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Do this task: "Supply Electrical Power" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Make sure that the applicable FLT CONTROL switch on the flight controls panel, P5-3, is set to the ON position.

Operate the aileron control wheel, control column, and rudder pedals to bleed the hydraulic system.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Do this task to depressurize hydraulic systems A and B: "Hydraulic System A, B or Standby Depressurization" (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Do this task if electrical power is not necessary: "Electrical Power Removal" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(3)
Do this task if servicing is necessary for the hydraulic reservoirs: "Hydraulic Reservoirs Servicing" (AMM 12-12-00/301).
