One dataset for each report can be defined with up to 12 parameters in two lines. The operator may assign a parameter by either entering the full parameter call-up using EQID, SYS, etc. adjacent to the 5L key or by entering the alpha call-up and system No. adjacent to the 4L key. The parameter entered will be assigned to the position entered by the operator beside the 1R key. Positions 1 - 6 are from left to right on the first line of the dataset which shall be printed out. Positions 7 - 12 are assigned to the second line of the dataset. Generation of the datasets will then be repeated in intervals. The operator my define the interval times at which the datasets shall be generated by entering the desired value in seconds beside the 2R key. Average or snapshot values can be chosen by inserting a certain value beside the 2L key. Inserting a '0' or no programming means snapshot. Inserting e.g. a '04' means that the values shall be averaged over 4 seconds. The use of history data may be defined by inserting the number of seconds of history data beside the 3L key.
Legal entries for the position are 1 to 12, (for the interval time 00.25 to 99.75), for the average and history time 0, 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20. Legal entries for the parameter and the alpha entries are defined in paragraph E (5) and E (6). If an average or history time is selected a programmable report, the parameter label entries are not allowed. If an average period or history period is programmed, and requires more than 20 seconds of history data, the data which are older than 20 seconds will be marked invalid in the print out.
All programmed information will be stored in the RPMB and require access level 2 for modifications. The example shown by the menu 'AIDS CREATE REPORT' shows, that on position 11 of report No. 16, the parameter 'MACH' appears. The datasets in this report shall be generated in 6.5 seconds intervals. Twenty seconds pre event history data shall be used and the values shall be averaged over 4 seconds. The parameter label characteristics beside the 5L key shows an example for a parameter label entry. But is treated invalid in this example (because an average and a history time is defined). After activation of the 4R key the menu shown by the menu '<CREATE REPORT' appears. Activating the 4L key by the operator may clear the entire set of defined parameters. Performing any other action will not result in clearing of the parameters.

 (d) Individual Report Programming (Ref. Fig. 032) The procedure to select the individual report programming option is as follows:
-select '<INDIVIDUAL REP PROG' on the AIDS Print Report Menu,
-the AIDS Individual Report Menu displays 8 submenus:
 *
 HEADER

 *
 LIMITS

 *
 START LOGIC

 *
 INHIB

 *
 COUNTERS

 *
 ACAR LINK

 *
 REP INC

 *
 DISC TRG INHIB

On the left side of line # 3, the DMU displays the report number.
The operator may either use the NEXT PAGE key or enter a new
report number via the scratchpad. By activating 1L changes the
 displayed report number.
The report number shown is the report number that will be
modified when one of the following options is chosen.

1 Programming the Print Report Header

_ (Ref. Fig. 033) The three lines in each report header may be programmed or modified via the MCDU. The procedure is as follows:
 -
select '<INDIVIDUAL REP PROG' on the AIDS Print Report Menu,

 -
select '<HEADER' on the AIDS Individual Report Programming Menu,

-the AIDS Report Header Page comes on.
Under the sign 'REPORT #' the AIDS report number, for which header information can be introduced, is indicated. To select the report on which text shall be introduced, the user may insert the desired report number via the scratchpad, then the 1L key or using the next page key until the desired report number appears. The indication L1, L3 and L5 are the line numbers of the AIDS report on which the inserted text appears. Due to the fact that on the MCDU only 20 characters on one line are available for inserting text, the line below the respective LS key is used for the rest of the 40 character AIDS report header line. To enable SPACE inputs, the 5L key has to be used because the MCDU keyboard has no SPACE key. Valid entries for the report header are all characters and numbers and the SPACE entry as described above.
