-
The ATA reference of the failure
-
The FIN of the component
-
The failure message.
If you push the LSK adjacent to the failure the display shows the
trouble shooting data for the failure.
The display shows a maximum of two failures at a time. If there more
failures, push the next page key on the MCDU keyboard. If there are
no failures, the display shows the message NO FAULT DETECTED.
(7) <TEST
R (Ref. Fig. 041) If you push the '<TEST' LSK the display shows:
-
<DMU POWER-UP TEST
-
<DMU BATTERY TEST.
(a) <DMU POWER-UP TEST If you push the '<DMU POWER-UP TEST' LSK the DMU initiates a complete BITE procedure. If the test is longer than 1 second, the display shows TEST IN PROGRSS xS (x= approximate maximum waiting time in seconds). If the system has no failures the display shows TEST OK. If faults are detected, the test result menu shows the faulty LRU with:
-
The ATA reference of the failure
-
The FIN of the component
-
The class of the failure
-
The failure message.
If you push the LSK adjacent to the failure class the display
shows the trouble shooting data for the failure.
(b) <DMU BATTERY TEST If you push the '<DMU BATTERY TEST' LSK the DMU initiate a battery test which does not interfere with the normal DMU operation. If the test is longer than 1 second, the screen shows the TEST IN PROGRSS xS (x= approximate maximum waiting time in seconds). If the system has no failures the display shows BATTERIES OK. If faults are detected, the test result menu shows the faulty LRU with:
-
The ATA reference of the failure
-
The FIN of the component
-
The class of the failure
-
The failure message.
If you push the LSK adjacent to the failure class the display
shows the trouble shooting data for the failure.

(8) <GROUND REPORT
R (Ref. Fig. 042) If you push the '<GROUND REPORT' LSK, the display shows each internal failure during the last flight leg with:
-
The time when the failure occurred
-
The ATA reference of the failure
-
The FIN of the component
-
The class of the failure.
The display shows a maximum of two failures at a time. If there are
more failures, push the next page key on the MCDU keyboard. If there
are no failures, the display shows the message NO FAULT DETECTED.
If you push the LSK adjacent to the failure class, the display shows
the trouble shooting data for the failure.
(9) <SOFTWARE LOAD STATUS
R (Ref. Fig. 043) If you push the '<SOFTWARE LOAD STATUS' LSK, the display shows:
-
The system software partnumber
-
The date when the system software was loaded
-
The UTC when the system software was loaded
-
The combined setup database/customer version partnumber
-
The date when the the combined setup database/customer software was loaded
-
The UTC when the the combined setup database/customer software was
loaded If the software loading was unsuccessfull the screen shows SOFTWARE LOAD ERROR.
