K. AIDS DMU Programming (Ref. Fig. 019) The AIDS Programming Menu contain following submenus:

The procedure is as follows:
-
select '<AIDS' on the MCDU Menu,
-
select '<Documentat/ <PROGRAMMING' on the AIDS Main Menu,
-
select '<PROGRAMMING MENUS' on the AIDS DMU Programming Menu.
The parts which are programmable via the MCDU is described in the function paragraphs and is mutually agreed upon by vendor. For programming the Reprogrammable Memory Block (RPMB) on the AGS. The vendor supply the source codes and vendor developed application software tools. These software is for that part of the DMU which is not reprogrammable via the MCDU. The procedure is as follows:

select '<AIDS' on the MCDU Menu,

select 'Documentat/ <PROGRAMMING' on the AIDS Main Menu,
-the DMU Version is displayed on the MCDU screen.

Having entered the access code the use select one of the programming submenus. It is indicated on the scratchpad for which access level the entered access code is valid. In the various programming menus the modifiable data are displayed in blue, other in green. In any case the actual state of the modifiable data are displayed, also if the user does not know the correct access code. If the wrong access code is entered, the modifiable data appears in green instead of blue to indicate that they are fixed for this programming session.
(1) DAR Programming
The option for programming the various DAR operation functions can be
selected on the AIDS DAR Programming Menu.
The procedure is as follows:
-selecet '<AIDS' on the MCDU Menu,
-
select 'Documentat/ <PROGRAMMING' on the AIDS Main Menu,
-
select '<PROGRAMMING MENUS' on the AIDS DMU Programming Menu,
-
select '<DAR' on the AIDS DMU Pogramming Menu.
The operator can select the desired DAR programming option by
activating one of the keys described as follows:
-FORMAT select allows programming the DAR frame.
-SPEED SELECT select the DAR speed (64 - 1024 Words/sec)
-DOC FORMAT select allows to initiate a documentary print out of the entire DAR frame format.
-RUN/STOP TIME select allows programming the DAR start/stop time.
-START/STOP LOGIC select allows programming the DAR start/stop formulas.
-BUFFER SIZE select allows programming the DAR history buffer size.
(a) Programming DAR Format (Ref. Fig. 020) The 25% of the DAR frame is filled with parameters which are identical to the DFDR. There are different versions of the DFDR frame assignment. The 75% of the DAR is free programmable. Each parameter from the parameter listcan be selected.
