a logic with the item number 7001 or 7002 (see logic tables).
The report to be transmitted shall be reduced to line keys and
data lines, and it shall be maintained in the DMU after
 transmission to the MU.

Report Increment Programming
 (Ref. Fig. 042)
 The procedure is as follows:

 -
select '<INDIVIDUAL REP PROG' on the AIDS Print Report Menu,

 -
select 'REPORT INC>' on the AIDS Individual Report Programming Menu,

-the AIDS Report Increment Page comes on.
 8 Discrete Trigger Inhibit Programming
_ (Ref. Fig. 043) For reports No. 10, 14 and 19 there are discrete trigger items specified. The operator may program via the MCDU so that generation of the report due to one or more of those items shall be suppressed. The procedure is as follows:
 -
select '<INDIVIDUAL REP PROG' on the AIDS Print Report Menu,

 -
select 'DISC TRG INHIB>' on the AIDS Individual Report Programming Menu,

-the AIDS Discrete Trigger Inhibit Page comes on.
The DMU displays the current status of whether or not the report generation is suppressed. The present state of the trigger will have no asterix adjacent to it. The user may activate the appropriate LS key to change the status. Scrolling is available for displaying the rest of the logic items. The example shown in the menu 'AIDS DISC TRIG INHIB' means that the logic item No. 4.3 will not generate a report No. 6 also if this condition becomes true. The programmable information is stored in the RPMB. Access level 2 is required for modifications.
 (4) Programming Print Rules (Ref. Fig. 044) The rules when a generated report shall be printed out may be modified via the MCDU individually for each report. The rules are described in this document. The procedure is as follows:
-select '<REP RULE' on the AIDS Print Report Menu,
-the AIDS Report Print Rule Page comes on.
The DMU displays the available report numbers and the associated print rules. The operator may modify the rule number via the scratchpad and by activating the appropriate LS key. Valid entries are 1, 2, 3 and 4. Scrolling will display the rest of the reports on the screen. The programmed values are stored in the RPMB. Access level 1 is required for modifications.

 (5) Programming EVMU (Ref. Fig. 045) If an Engine Vibration Monitoring Unit (EVMU) is installed, the advanced reports for the EVMU can be degenerate via the MCDU. The user can decide, which type of reports is desirable (with or without EVMU monitoring). The procedure is as follows:
-select 'EVMU>' on the AIDS Print Report Menu,
-the AIDS EVMU STD Identify Page comes on.
The DMU displays the status of the EVMU report. An asterix selects the selection of 'YES' or 'NO'. If 'NO' is selected the Standard Reports are monitored, further if 'YES' is selected and an EVMU is installed the advanced EVMU reports are monitored.
 (6) Programming Hex Switch (Ref. Fig. 046) If this switch is set to 'YES', the numbers in the print outs will be changed into an OCR readable form. This means that the letters (A, B, C, D, E, F) will be printed out as N, S, C, T, E, V. The procedure is as follows:
-select 'HEX SWITCH>' on the AIDS Print Report Menu,.
-the AIDS Print Hex Switch Page comes on.
On line 11, the DMU will display the present state of whether or not the print out appears. This is in OCR readable form. The present state, 'YES' or 'NO', has no asterix beside it. The operator may change the state by activating the appropriate LS key.
 (7) Programming Flight Phase Logic Limits (Ref. Fig. 047)
The operator may modify the limits for the flight phase detection
 logic.
 The procedure is as follows:

-select '<FLT PHASE LOGIC LIMITS' on the AIDS DMU Programming Menu,
-the AIDS Flight Logic Limts Page comes on.
The DMU displays the default values in the DEFLT column along with any reprogrammed limits in the LIMIT column. The operator may change the limits by entering the new data into the scratchpad and by activating the appropriate LS key. Valid entries for ALT1 and ALT2 are 0 to +/-131072, and for IVV1 and IVV2 0 to +/-32768. The default data are stored in the RPMB and require level 3 access for modification. The data in the LIMIT column are also stored in a part of the RPMB and requires level 2 code for modification.
