(b) Parameter Alpha Call-Up Menu
(Ref. Fig. 064)
After entry of an Alpha Code the alpha code, source and values
shows online on the display. Furthermore an Alpha list shows the
available Alpha Codes. In the Parameter list the available Alpha
Codes are described.
1 Display of Alpha Call-Up Parameter_
Access:
- Set AIDS on the MCDU MENU menu
- Set ALPHA on the AIDS main menu
- Set DISPLAY on the AIDS Alpha Call-Up Control menu.
Entry:
Enter with the alphanumeric keys the Alpha Code (e.g. UTC)
into the scratchpad and push the line select key 1L, 2L, 3L,
4L or 5L to take over into the data field. The line select key
5L can show only alpha codes with not more than two values.
8 Label Call-Up menu pages are provided and each menu page can
display 5 Alpha Codes Parameter.
Display / Result:
The display of alpha call-up parameter contains the content as
follows:
R - ALPHA : The entered Alpha Code
R - SOURCE : Name of source bus/system from the selected alpha
R call-up
R - POS : Position Number of the associated alpha call-up value.
R If a : is displayed after the position number that shows the
selected parameter is valid. If the field for the value is
R filled with XXX the selected parameter is not updated within
1 second. If the field for the value filled with --- the
R selected parameter is received with invalid SSM.
The values of the selected parameters updates once per second.
If parameters from two or four systems are available, both
respective four parameters shows by one call-up code entry.

AIDS Alpha List Access:

Set LIST on the AIDS Alpha Call-Up Control menu.
Display:
The Alpha List shows all available Alpha Codes.
To find a certain Alpha Code the menu has a filter function by
entry of the first character.
Define, Select, Store, Delete and Clear of Alpha Call-Up Contents Access:

Set AIDS on the MCDU MENU menu

Set ALPHA on the AIDS main menu. Entry:
-Define/Select of Setup Name: Enter with the alphanumeric keys 5 character into the scratchpad and push the line select key (2L) below SETUP NAME indication. Does the entered Setup Name exist in the stored Alpha Menu Setups the content of this is now actived. Otherwise a new Setup Name is defined.
-Store: Push the line key adjacent to STORE indication to save the Setup Name with the contents.
-Delete: Push the line key adjacent to DELETE indication to erase the Setup Name with the contents.
-Clear: Push the line key adjacent to CLEAR indication to clear all parameters in current (selected/active) Alpha Call-Up Setup.
Display:
The current Setup Name shows below the SETUP NAME indication
if one is selected or defined. The stored Alpha Menu Setups
shows below the STORED ALPHA MENU SETUPS indication.
Print Record of an Online Parameter Trace This function allows to record the parameter from the current Alpha Call-Up Menu Setup on the printer. The printout starts immediately after selection. Access:

Enter with the alphanumeric keys the number of seconds (3
digits) into the scratchpad and push the line key adjacent to
