If a report is triggered manual by the remote print button, then the report is immediately generated (independent of any other trigger logic). The manual or automatically generated reports (stored in the SSMM) can be transferred to the printer, the PDL/MDDU, the ACARS and the DAR/SAR. Certain parameters for customer requirements are reprogrammable through the Application Generation Station (AGS) and uploaded via PDL/MDDU. Following AI AIDS Reports are available:
-<01> Engine Cruise Report (Ref. 31-37-73)
-<02> Cruise Performance Report (Ref. 31-37-73)
 -<04> Engine Take-Off Report (Ref. 31-37-73)
 -<05> Engine On-Request Report (Ref. 31-37-73)
-<06> Engine Gas Path Advisory Report (Ref. 31-37-73)
-<07> Engine Mech Advisory Report (Ref. 31-37-73)
-<09> Engine Divergence Report (Ref. 31-37-73)
-<10> Engine Start Report (Ref. 31-37-73)
-<11> Engine Run Up Report (Ref. 31-37-73)
 -<13> APU MES/TDLE Report (Ref. 31-37-49)
-<14> APU Shutdown Report (Ref. 31-37-49)
 -<15> Load Report (Ref. 31-37-51)
 -<16>, <17>, <18> Programmable Report
 -<19> ECS Report (Ref. 31-37-21).
 (1)
History Buffer There is a 20 s history buffer (pre event buffer) for 200 parameters with an average sampling rate of 4 per second. This buffer is intended to supply data for incorporation into the AIDS reports.

 (2)
Short Time Buffer for Reports Generated by Manual Request For reports generated manually through the MCDU for printing or ACARS download a report buffer for one report is provided.

 (3)
Print Report Buffer A non-volatile memory for storage of at least 10 reports per different AIDS report type is provided.

 (4)
Overall Report Definition The following definitions are basically applicable to each AI AIDS Report:

 -
report number (two digit),

 -
report name (18 alphanumeric string),

-print report format programmable text (2 header lines),
 - overall report inhibit (enable/disable),

 -engine specific trigger inhibits,
 -
maximum number of automatically generated reports per flight,

 -
maximum number of SSMM stored reports,

 (5) Report Trigger Definition For each AI Standard AIDS Report general and specific trigger definition (Trigger Codes) are performed (e.g. exceedance, stability, peak) and are AGS reprogrammable. Within fixed trigger logics only certain constants and limits are reprogrammable (refer to report definition).
 (a) Manual Report Request The DMU provide via the MCDU a report selection menu to enable manual selection of reports for immediate generation and output to one of the following destinations:
Output Device | Output Rule _______________|_________________________
 -Printer | 2.1: Print Immediately
 -ACARS | 3.1: Downlink Immediately
 -PDL | (no rule defined)
 (b)
Manual Report Trigger via Remote Print Button If a report is assigned to be triggered by the remote print button, the report is immediately generated. An additional MCDU programmable switch is provided for the print out rules for those reports.

 (c)
Programmable Start/Stop Control for Print Reports Independent from the fixed trigger logic for the various print reports there is a programmable start logic provided for each print report. The DMU provide an adequat programming menu via the MCDU to enable this function. A programmable combination of up to 40 parameter conditions for the start of a report and 40 conditions for the DAR start/stop logic is possible. The combination of the 40 parameter conditions may be specified in logic trees. The flight phase, stable frame conditions and a time is considered as parameters to be usable for start programming.

The following logic definitions are available for programming: 'AND', 'OR', 'NAND', 'NOR' and 'XOR'
Each report (except reports 16, 17 and 18) triggered by this logic stop when it is complete. For the programmable reports 16, 17 and 18 a stop logic is programmable similar to the start logic. The reports stop when the stop logic is true or the report is complete.

 (6) Report Format Definition
 (a) Value Presentation The presentation of the values in the reports are according to the operational range as listed in the parameter list.
 E.g. GW = 80000 Kg is printed as 80000
Negative values begin with a 'N'. It is also possible to program
