R - Green data if the data is already in the computer but it cannot be
R modified by an operator entry.
R - Cyan brackets (- -) if no value is defined and the operator can
R enter the data.
R - Amber boxes ( ) if no value is defined. Then the data entry is
R mandatory for the correct functioning of the system. Or for the
R achievment of the function described on the page or on the label
R line.
R - White dashes ( --- ) if the field is filled by the computer but not
R yet available. Due to lack of information or a computation has not
R yet been or a computation has no yet been achieved.
R The entry format of data is described by the number of boxes or the
R place occupied by the brackets, or the spaces between brackets. On
R one data line, several data may be displayed and entered : the
R different fields are separated by a slash ('/').
R Each field may be entered separately; it is identified by the number
R of slashes in front of the entered data:
R e.g.: EQ/SYS/LAB/SDI
R to modify the label, the operator has to enter into the scratchpad :
R '//label'.
R
R (11) Clearing Messages Any message that is displayed can be cleared by
R activating the CLR key. Messages are automatically cleared under the
R following conditions:
R - when data are entered into the scratchpad,
R - when LS or MODE key is activated,
R - when the reason is no longer valid.
R (12) Sereval MCDU's
R (Ref. Fig. 013)
R The DMU communicates with one MCDU only at the same time. If MCDU
R communication is requested from any of these MCDU's while
R communication is already active an other MCDU, the DMU respond with
