SUBTASK 27-31-91-020-002
(1) Remove the elevator neutral shift mechanism. To remove it, do this task: Elevator Neutral Shift
Mechanism Removal, TASK 27-31-91-000-801.
SUBTASK 27-31-91-020-003
(2) Use these tools to check for wear on the parts of the elevator neutral shift mechanism
connections:
(a) micrometer (0-1 Inch, readable to 1/1000 Inch), STD-1096
(b) readable to 1/1000 inch vernier 0 - 6 inch caliper, STD-1097.

(3) Examine the parts of the elevator neutral shift mechanism connections for worn areas:
(a) Remove the parts to be checked.
(b) Measure the parts as necessary with a micrometer (0-1 Inch, readable to 1/1000 Inch),
STD-1096 or a readable to 1/1000 inch vernier 0 - 6 inch caliper, STD-1097.
(c) Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted wear dimensions that follow.

FEEL SYSTEM PITOT PROBE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of a feel system pitot probe
(2) An installation of a feel system pitot probe.
B. The feel system pitot probe is referred to as the "pitot probe" in this procedure.
C. A pitot probe is installed on each side of the vertical fin. This procedure is applicable for the left and
right pitot probes.
