ELEVATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of the elevator
(2) An installation of the elevator
(3) A removal of the elevator control pushrod
(4) An installation of the elevator control pushrod.
B. When it is necessary to balance the elevator, make sure you do a check of the elevator and the
elevator tab part numbers. Refer to Chapter 51 of the Structural Repair Manual when you balance the
elevator-elevator tab combination after the structural repairs or after you put on new paint.
C. If you install a tab on the elevator during the elevator installation, make sure the number of the
elevator control tab adjust weights agree with the tab data plate.
