TO THE BALLSCREW ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY MAY OCCUR.
(b) Apply a 500 ±20 in-lb (56.5 ±2.3 Nm) clockwise torque to the upstop of the jackscrew and
hold.
NOTE: Make sure you do not put the torque on the safety rod nut.
1) While maintaining torque on the jackscrew, use a marker to make a line on the
jackscrew shield and the retainer - seal.
2) Release the torque.
(c) Measure the arc distance between the lines.
1) Make sure that the arc distance dimension is not more than 1.06 in. (26.9 mm) (36.0
degrees).
F. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

11. Stabilizer Trim Cutout Test
A. General
(1) Use this procedure to make sure the stabilizer trim cutout switch operates correctly. It stops the
horizontal stabilizer when the control column command is opposite from the STAB TRIM
switches.
