ELEVATOR FEEL AND CENTERING UNIT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of the elevator feel and centering unit
(2) An installation of elevator feel and centering unit.
B. The feel and centering unit is referred to as "centering unit" in this procedure.

F. Centering Unit Removal
SUBTASK 27-31-64-020-003
(1) Remove the centering unit [1]:
(a) Remove nut [6], washer [5], washer [4], and bolt [3] to disconnect the output rod [7] from the
crank [2].
(b) Remove the nut [11], washer [10], washer [9], and bolt [8] to disconnect the microadjustment
rod [12] from the centering unit [1].
(c) Hold the centering unit [1] and remove the bolts [15] and washers [16] from the bearing
assemblies [13].
(d) Remove the centering unit [1] from the support brackets [14].
