The example shows that you will need to adjust the elevator tab to 0.11 inches (2.8 mm)
trailing edge up from the current position to bring the airplane to a neutral elevator tab
trim.
NOTE: For coarse adjustment, a half turn of the tab rod end results in approximately 0.10 inch
(2.5 mm) at the tab trailing edge .
For finer adjustment, one full turn of the bushing [104] (vernier collar) results in
approximately 0.02 inch (0.5 mm) at the elevator tab trailing edge Figure 508 or
Figure 509.
The number of threads showing on the pushrod ends should be approximately equal to
the number of threads showing on the bushing [104].
The elevator tab should be adjusted to the nearest 0.01 inch (0.3 mm) shown on the scale
at the bottom of the right chart of the Elevator Tab Rig Adjustment Chart.
