(c) Connect the static lines.

(1) Examine the pitot probe for damage.
(a) Make sure the maximum tip bluntness of the pitot probe is not more than 0.04 inch (1.0
millimeter).
(b) Make sure the pitot probe is not bent or the electrical heater is damaged.
(c) If it is necessary, replace the pitot probe. These are the tasks:

ON THE GROUND CAN SEE THE COVERS. ALSO MAKE SURE YOU ATTACH A TAG TO
THE LEFT CONTROL WHEEL IN THE FLIGHT COMPARTMENT AS A REMINDER THAT
THE PITOT PROBES HAVE COVERS ON THEM. IF THE COVERS ARE NOT REMOVED
