ELEVATOR TAB CONTROL VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of the elevator tab control valve
(2) An installation of the elevator tab control valve
B. The elevator tab control valve is referred to as the "control valve" in this procedure.
C. This procedure is applicable to the control valves for the left and right elevator tab control
mechanisms. The upper control valve is for the left elevator tab control mechanism and the lower
control valve is for the right elevator tab control mechanism.

(1) Remove pressure from the elevator hydraulic systems A and B. To remove it, do this task:

(2) To get access to the control valve, do this task:

(1) Disconnect hydraulic lines [10] from the control valve [11]. Discard the packings [9].
(a) Install the caps and plugs on the control valve ports and hydraulic lines.

(2) Disconnect the electrical line [5] from the control valve [11].
SUBTASK 27-31-35-020-003
(3) Remove the bolts [6] and washers [7] that attach the control valve [11] to the airplane structure.
