SUBTASK 27-31-11-020-006
(1) Remove the nut [110], nut [111], and bolt assembly [112] to disconnect the elevator control
pushrod [113] from the elevator mast arm [114].
NOTE: The bolt assembly is removed through the circular access hole in the tailcone.

(2) Remove the nut [115], washer [116], nut [117], washers [118] and bolt assembly [119] to
disconnect the rod assembly [113] from the elevator bus crank [120].

(1) Lubricate the bolts and bushings with grease, D00015.
SUBTASK 27-31-11-420-006
(2) Install the rod assembly [113]:
(a) Make sure the elevator installation [1] is in the neutral position (Figure 403).
(b) Connect the elevator control pushrod [113] to the elevator bus crank [120]:
1) Install the bolt assembly [119] (with the bolt head inboard) washers [118], and nut [117].
2) Tighten the nut [117] to 500 - 600 pound-inches (56.5 - 67.8 newton-meters).
CAUTION: DO NOT TIGHTEN THE NUT [117] AGAIN AFTER YOU TIGHTEN THE NUT
[115], YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
3) Install the washer [116] and the nut [115].
4) Tighten the nut [115] to 150 - 220 pound-inches (17.0 - 24.9 newton-meters).
(c) Connect the rod assembly [113] to the elevator mast arm [114]:
1) Install the bolt assembly [112] with the bolt head inboard, nut [111].
