Article 93 bis* Article 93 bis*
a) Notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 9 1,92 and
93 above:
1) A State whose government the General Assembly
of the United Nations has recommended be debarred from
membership in international agencies established by or
brought into relationship with the United Nations shall
automatically cease to be a member of the International
Civil Aviation Organization;
2) A State which has been expelled from membership
in the United Nations shall automatically cease to be a
member of the International Civil Aviation Organization
unless the General Assembly of the United Nations attaches
to its act of expulsion a recommendation to the contrary.
b) A State which ceases to be a member of the
International Civil Aviation Organization as a result of the
provisions of paragraph a) above may, after approval by the
General Assembly of the United Nations, be readmitted to the
International Civil Aviation Organization upon application and
upon approval by a majority of the Council.
C) Members of the Organization which are suspended
from the exercise of the rights and privileges of membership in
the United Nations shall, upon the request of the latter, be
suspended from the rights and privileges of membership in this
Organization.
Article 94
Amendment of Convention
a) Any proposed amendment to this Convention must be
approved by a two-thirds vote of the Assembly and shall then
come into force in respect of States which have ratified such
amendment when ratified by the number of contracting States
specified by the Assembly. The number so specified shall not
be less than two-thirds of the total number of contracting
States.
a) Nonobstant les dispositions des articles 91, 92 et 93
ci-dessus,
1) Tout tat dont le gouvernement fait I'objet de la
part de 1'Assemblte gtntrale de I'Organisation des Nations
Unies d'une recommandation tendant B le priver de sa
qualitt de membre d'institutions internationales, ttablies
par I'Organisation des Nations Unies ou relites h celle-ci,
cesse automatiquement d'&tre membre de l'organisation de
I'aviation civile internationale;
2) Tout i tat qui est exclu de I'Organisation des
Nations Unies cesse automatiquement dl&tre membre cie
I'Organisation de I'aviation civile internationale i moins
que 1'AssemblCe gCnCrale de I'Organisation des Nations
Unies joigne B son acte d'exclusion une recommandation
contraire.
b) Tout tat qui cesse d9&trme embre de I'Organisation de
l'aviation civile internationale, en application des dispositions
du paragraphea) ci-dessus, peut, avec I'accord de 1'AssemblCe
gCnCrale de I'Organisation des Nations Unies, &tre admis 2
nouveau dans I'Organisation de I'aviation civile internationale
sur sa demande, et avec l'approbation du Conseil votte B la
majorid.
c) Les membres de I'Organisation qui sont suspendus de
l'exercice des droits et privilhges inhkrents i la qualit6 de
