other personnel shall not seek or receive instructions in regard
to the discharge of their responsibilities from any authority
external to the Organization. Each contracting State undertakes
fully to respect the international character of the responsibilities
of the personnel and not to seek to influence any of its
nationals in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Article 60
Immunities and privileges of personnel
Each contracting State undertakes, so far as possible under
its constitutional procedure, to accord to the President of the
Council, the Secretary General, and the other personnel of the
Organization, the immunities and privileges which are
accorded to corresponding personnel of other public international
organizations. If a general international agreement on
the immunities and privileges of international civil servants is
arrived at, the immunities and privileges accorded to the
President, the Secretary General, and the other personnel of the
Organization shall be the immunities and privileges accorded
under that general international agreement.
Article 58
Nomination du personnel
Sous rtserve des rkgles Ctablies par I'AssemblCe et des
dispositions de la prCsente Convention, le Conseil dktermine
le mode de nomination et de cessation d'emploi, la formation
et les traitements, indemnitks et conditions de service du
Secrttaire gtntral et des autres membres du personnel de
I'Organisation et peut employer des ressortissants de tout tat
contractant ou utiliser leurs services.
Article 59
Caracttre international du personnel
Le President du Conseil, le SecrCtaire gCnCral et les autres
membres du personnel ne doivent ni solliciter ni accepter
d'instructions, dans I'extcution de leur tiche, d'aucune autoritt
extCrieure B I'Organisation. Chaque tat contractant s'engage
B respecter pleinement le caractkre international des fonctions
du personnel et B ne chercher B influencer aucun de ses
ressortissants dans I'exCcution de sa tlche.
Article 60
Immunitks et priviltges du personnel
Chaque tat contractant s'engage, dans la mesure oil son
regime constitutionnel le permet, B accorder au Prtsident du
Conseil, au SecrCtaire gCnCral et aux autres membres du
personnel de I'Organisation les immunitCs et privilbges
accord& au personnel correspondant d'autres organisations
internationales publiques. Si un accord international gCnCral
sur les immunitCs et privilbges des fonctionnaires internationaux
intervient, les immunitts et privilkges accordts au
President du Conseil, au SecrCtaire gCnCral et aux autres
membres du personnel de I'Organisation seront les immunitCs
et privil6ges accord& aux termes de cet accord international
gCnCral.
