States of America to notify the government of each of the
signatory and adhering States of the date on which this
Convention comes into force.
Article 92
Adherence to Convention
a) This Convention shall be open for adherence by
members of the United Nations and States associated with
them, and States which remained neutral during the present
world conflict.
6) Adherence shall be effected by anotification addressed
to the Government of the United States of America and shall
take effect as from the thirtieth day from the receipt of the
notification by the Government of the United States of
America, which shall notify all the contracting States.
Article 93
Adnzission of other States
States other than those provided for in Articles 91 and 92 a)
may, subject to approval by any general international organization
set up by the nations of the world to preserve peace, be
admitted to participation in this Convention by means of a
four-fifths vote of the Assembly and on such conditions as the
Assembly may prescribe: provided that in each case the assent
of any State invaded or attacked during the present war by the
State seeking admission shall be necessary.

entre ces tats le trentibme jour aprks le dCp6t du vingt-sixikme
instrument. Elle entrera en vigueur, h l'tgard de chaque tat
qui la ratifiera par la suite, le trentikme jour aprks le dtp6t de
son instrument de ratification.
C) I1 incombe au Gouvernement des ~tats-Unids '~m6rique
de notifier au Gouvemement de chacun des tats signataires et
adherents la date d'entrke en vigueur de la prtsente Convention.
Article 92
Adhbsion a la Convention
a) La prksente Convention est ouverte B I'adhCsion des
tats membres des Nations Unies, des tats associts B ceux-ci et
des tats demeurts neutres pendant le prCsent conflit mondial.
b) L'adhtsion s'effectue par une notification adresste au
Gouvernement des ~tats-Unisd 3AmCrique et prend effet le
trentibme jour qui suit la rtception de la notification par le
Gouvemement des ~tats-Unids1 ArnCrique,l equel en avise tous
les tats contractants.
Article 93
Admission d'autres tats
Les tats autres que ceux auxquels s'appliquent les
articles 91 et 92 a) peuvent, sous rCserve de l'approbation de
toute organisation internationale gCnCrale crCCe par les nations
du monde pour prtserver la paix, &tre admis B participer B la
prCsente Convention par un vote des quatre cinquibmes de
1'AssemblCe dans les conditions que 1'Assemblte pourra
prescrire, Ctant entendu que dans chaque cas I'assentiment de
tout tat envahi ou attaquC au cours de la prksente guerre par
1'~taqtu i demande son admission sera nCcessaire.

b ) Tan pronto como veintistis Estados hayan ratificado o
se hayan adherido a1 presente Convenio, Cste entrar5 en vigor
entre ellos a1 trigesimo dia despuCs del dep6sito del vigQimo
sexto instrumento. Entrari en vigor para cada Estado que lo
ratifique posteriormente, a1 trigCsimo dia desputs del dep6sito
del correspondiente instrumento de ratificaci6n.
C ) Seri obligacidn del Gobierno de 10s Estados Unidos de
America notificar a1 Gobierno de cada uno de 10s Estados
signatarios y adherentes la fecha de entrada en vigor del
presente Convenio.
Articulo 92
Adhesidn a1 Convenio
a) El presente Convenio quedari abierto a la adhesi6n de
10s miembros de las Naciones Unidas, de 10s Estados asociados
a ellos y de 10s Estados que permanecieron neutrales durante el
presente conflict0 mundial.
b) La adhesi6n se efectuari por notificaci6n dirigida a1
Gobierno de 10s Estados Unidos de AmCrica y surtiri efecto a1
trigCsimo dia de la fecha de recibo de la notificaci6n por el
Gobierno de 10s Estados Unidos de Amtrica, el cual notificari
a todos 10s Estados contratantes.
Articulo 93
Admisidn de otros Estados
Los Estados no previstos en 10s Articulos 91 y 92 a), con el
voto de 10s cuatro quintos de la Asamblea y en las condiciones
que Csta fije, podrin participar en el presente Convenio, previo
consentimiento del organism0 intemacional general que
para preservar la paz establezcan las naciones del mundo;
entenditndose que en cada caso seri necesario el asentimiento
de todo Estado invadido o atacado durante la guerra actual por
el Estado que solicite su ingreso.
