1) P180 DC Power Distribution Panel a) 180E7, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 2 b) 180E22, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 4 c) 180H8, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 1 d) 180H23, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 3
WARNING:_______DO NOT TOUCH THE PNEUMATIC DUCTS WHEN THEY ARE HOT. WHEN THE DUCTS ARE HOT THEY CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(c) Visually examine the EAS and make sure there is no hydraulic leakage.
L. Restore the Airplane to Normal

(2) S 864-140Put the FLT CONT HYD POWER TAIL 1, 2, and 3 switches in the NORM position. You can find these switches on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).
(3) S 414-141Close access panel 315A (AMM 06-09-05/201).
(4) S 414-190Close the ceiling panel in the area below the control columns (AMM 25-59-01/401).
(5) S 864-145Remove hydraulic power if it is not necessary (AMM 29-11-00/201).
(6) S 864-146Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

ELEVATOR AUTOPILOT SERVO MECHANICAL LINKAGE - INSPECTION/CHECK

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. The first task is for the visual inspection of the elevator autopilot servo (EAS) mechanical linkage. The second task is for the full inspection of the EAS mechanical linkage.
B. In the first task, you do not have to remove the EAS mechanical linkage. In the second task, you have to remove the EAS mechanical linkage for a full inspection of the worn areas. Usually you use the second task when you do the overhaul of the EAS mechanical linkage.

2. EAS Mechanical Linkage Visual Inspection (Fig. 601)________________________________________
A. General
_______
(1) This procedure is for a visual inspection of the EAS mechanical linkage for bends, cracks, corrosion, or worn areas. In this procedure, you do not have to remove the mechanical linkage if it is not necessary.
