NO LAND 3 is displayed if the autoland capability has degraded from fail-operational to fail-passive.

NO AUTOLAND is displayed if the autoland capability has degraded from fail-operational or fail-passive to a no autoland state.

The autoland system does not have to be in approach mode for these messages to be displayed. These level C messages are displayed when the autoland system is not multi-channel engaged and the fulltime no land option is selected.
F. Autoland Status Annunciation (Fig. 5)
(1) Primary Flight Display (PFD)
(a) The autoland system status annunciation is displayed when multi-channel engaged and above the alert height (200 feet). 1) Below the alert height (200 feet), the autoland status
annunciation changes only if the status has degraded to a no autoland state. A change in the autoland status from LAND 3 to LAND 2 is inhibited. Any failure below the alert height (200 feet) which would have caused a change in the autoland status is annunciated to the flight crew by displaying a NO LAND 3 message on the PFD when the airplane has completed the landing roll and the autopilot has been disconnected.

LAND 3 is displayed if the autoland status is fail-operational. This status requires that all three FCCs have determined a LAND 3 valid. A LAND 3 valid exists when all FCCs, A/P servos, and outer loop sensors are normal.
(c)
LAND 2 is displayed if the autoland status has degraded from fail-operational to fail-passive. This status requires that two FCCs have determined LAND 2 state. A LAND 2 state exists when the A/P servos and outer loop sensors are normal.
(d)
NO AUTOLAND is displayed if the autoland status has degraded to the point where autoland is impossible. The status requires that at least two FCCs have determined a NO AUTOLAND state. A NO AUTOLAND state exists when two FCCs, A/P servos or outer loop sensors have failed.
