O. Speed Brake Handle Position Test

(1) Do this check on the position of the speed brake handle:
NOTE:____Hydraulic power is not necessary for this test. If the hydraulic power is on ,the control surfaces will move.
(a)
Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND TESTS from the CMC MENU page on the CDU.
(b)
Push the LSK adjacent to <22 AUTOPILOT FLT DIR from the GROUND TESTS SYSTEMS page on the CDU.
(c)
Push the LSK adjacent to <XDUCER OUTPUTS from the GROUND TESTS MENU page on the CDU.
(d)
Continue with the instructions on the CDU to get the values for the speed brake position.
(e)
Set the speed brake handle to the ARM position.
(f)
Write down the values for the position of the speed brake handle:
L ______ , C ______ , R ______ .
(g)
Make sure the three values for the left, center, and right channels are between 0% and 5%.
