Set the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches to the SHUTOFF position. These switches are on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel, P461.

 (4)  Make sure that you remove the access panels 324EL, 324FL, and 324FR (optional)(AMM 06-09-07/201).
 F.  RPCP Electrohydraulic Servovalve and Solenoid Valve Installation

 CAUTION: DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID GET INTO THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR.
_______ THE HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE AND FAILURE TO THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR.
 (1)  
Remove the covers from the hydraulic ports on the RPCP.

Clean the surfaces of the valve gasket plate and the RPCP with the clean hydraulic fluid.

Remove the cover from the electrical port.

Lightly lubricate the new gasket plate and the O-ring with the MCS352 lubricant.

Install the new O-ring with the O-ring installation tool (AMM 20-11-19/401).

Lightly lubricate the mounting screws with the MIL G-23827 grease.

Install the valve and gasket plate on the RPCP with the mounting screws and washers.

 (a)  Tighten the mounting screws from 70 to 80 pound-inches.

Use the bonding meter to make sure that the resistance between the valve and RPCP is 5.0 milliohms (0.005 ohm) or less (AMM 20-22-01/601).
