Electrical Power On (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(b)
Central Maintenance Computer (CMC), serviceable (AMM 45-10-00/501).
(c)
Hydraulic Pressure Supplied (AMM 29-11-00/201).
(d)
Control Display Unit (CDU), serviceable (AMM 34-61-02/401).
(e)
Flight Control Computer (FCC), serviceable (AMM 22-11-01/401).
E. Prepare for the Test

(1)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches on the pilots' control stand to the AUTO position.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Supply the hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic systems NO. 1, 2, 3, and 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Make sure the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches are in the NORM position. These switches are on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).

Make sure the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER WING 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches are in the NORM position. These switches are on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).

(6) Prepare the CDU for the test:
(a)
Push the MENU key on the CDU to show the MENU.
(b)
Push the line select key (LSK) that is adjacent to <CMC to show the CMC MENU.
(c)
If <RETURN shows after you push the LSK, push the LSK that is adjacent to <RETURN until you see the CMC MENU.
(d)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <GROUND TESTS to show the GROUND TESTS menu.
(e)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <22 AUTOPILOT FLT DIR to show the GROUND TESTS menu for the autopilot flight director system.
(f)
Push the NEXT PAGE key until you find <SERVO-ELEVATOR.
NOTE: If INHIBITED shows above <SERVO-ELEVATOR the test will
____
not operate.
(g) If INHIBITED shows above <SERVO-ELEVATOR: 1) Push the LSK that is adjacent to the test prompt. 2) Do the steps shown on the CDU. 3) Push the LSK that is adjacent to <RETURN to show the ground
test menu again.
F. Elevator Servo Ground Test

(1) Push the LSK that is adjacent to <SERVO-ELEVATOR.
(a)
When the TEST PRECONDITIONS page shows, make sure each instruction on the page is completed.
(b)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to START TEST>.
(c)
Continue with the instructions shown on the CDU to complete the test.
NOTE: If <ADVANCE shows during the test, push <ADVANCE to
____ continue after you complete or read the instructions.
An autopilot disconnect warning will occur at the end of this test, which is permitted.
(d) Push the captain's or first officer's autopilot disconnect switch two times.

(2) When the test is completed, look for PASS or FAIL> adjacent to <SERVO-ELEVATOR.
