NOTE: The 324UL/324UR access panel is for the upper RPCM.

(7) Do these steps to remove the valve:
(a)
Remove the lockwire from the mounting screws (AMM 20-11-28/401).
(b)
Remove the mounting screws.
(c)
Remove the valve.
(d)
Remove the seal plate.
(e)
Remove the O-ring from the valve (AMM 20-11-19/401).
(f)
Put a cover on the RPCM opening.

E. Procedure
S 422-070
(1) Do these steps to install the valve:
(a)
Remove the cover from the RPCM opening.
(b)
Clean the seal plate.
(c)
Make sure the O-ring is satisfactory.
(d)
Replace the O-ring if it is necessary.
(e)
Lubricate the O-ring with hydraulic fluid.
(f)
Install the O-ring on the valve with the O-ring installation tool (AMM 20-11-19/401).
(g)
Put the seal plate in the correct position.
(h)
Hold the valve in position and install the mounting screws.
(i)
Tighten the mounting screws between 50-70 pound-inches.
(j)
Use the bonding meter to read the resistance value between the valve and the RPCM body. Make sure the resistance value is less than 5.0 milliohms (AMM 20-22-01/601).
(k)
Install the lockwire (AMM 20-11-28/401).
