CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE MCP BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE GROUND STRAP
_______ BETWEEN YOUR WRIST AND THE ELECTROSTATIC GROUND JACK. ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE MCP.
(3) Do the steps that follow to install the mode control panel:
(a)
Remove the caps from the electrical connectors on the rear of the MCP.
(b)
Make sure that you remove the cover from the air inlet on the MCP. Make sure that you clean the air outlet at the mounting rails.
CAUTION:_______CAREFULLY PUSH THE MCP INTO THE MOUNTING RAILS. TOO MUCH FORCE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLES.
(c)
Push the MCP into the mounting rails until the electrical cables can connect to the rear of the MCP.
(d)
Connect the electrical connectors.
(e)
Push the MCP into position.
(f)
Tighten the four captive-screws at the bottom of the glare shield.
