(25) Set and hold the alternate electric trim switches on the Pilots' Control Stand in the APL NOSE UP direction and do these steps:
(a) Make sure that bit 22 for the ARINC word "E/26/350/00" is "0".
NOTE: (E/26/350/00, BIT 22) = SRM-L VALID TRIM COMMAND SIGNAL

(b)
Use the PREV PAGE key on the CDU to show page 1 of the INPUT MONITORING.
(c)
Make sure that bit 22 for the ARINC word "E/53/350/00" is "0".
NOTE: (E/53/350/00, BIT 22) = SRM-R VALID TRIM COMMAND SIGNAL
