(2) S 865-092Make sure the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches are in the NORM position. These switches are on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).
(3) S 865-093Make sure the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER WING 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches are in the NORM position. These switches are on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).
(4) S 745-180Push the LSK adjacent to <OTHER FUNCTIONS from the CMC MENU page 2/2 on the CDU.
(5) S 745-181Push the LSK adjacent to <INPUT MONITORING from the OTHER FUNCTIONS MENU page on the CDU.
(6) S 745-182Use the alphanumeric keys on the CDU to put "E/53/350/00" into the scratchpad.
(7) S 745-183Push the LSK 1L to move the data into the correct position.
(8) S 745-184Make sure that bits 29, 28, 23 and 15 for the ARINC word "E/53/350/00" are "0".
NOTE:____ (E/53/350/00, BIT 29) = SRM-L FAIL (SRM-L) (E/53/350/00, BIT 28) = SRM-R FAIL (SRM-L)
(E/53/350/00, BIT 23) = SRM-R UNSCHEDULED TRIM SIGNAL -> SRM-L INTERFACE FAIL
(E/53/350/00, BIT 15) = SRM-R SRM VALID SIGNAL -> SRM-L INTERFACE FAIL

Set and hold the alternate electric trim switches on the Pilots' Control Stand in the APL NOSE UP direction and do these steps:
(a)
Hold the alternate electric trim switches for 5 seconds.
(b)
Make sure that bit 14 for the ARINC word "E/53/270/00" is "1".
NOTE: (E/53/270/00, BIT 14) = UNSCHEDULED TRIM IND (SRM-L)

Use the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU to show page 5 of the INPUT MONITORING.
