 (b)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <SPEED BRK XDUCER from the GROUND TESTS MENU page on the CDU.

 (c)  
Continue with the instructions shown on the CDU to complete the test.

 (d)  
Make sure that the SPEED BRK XDUCER test is completed with no failure.


 P. Flap Position Test
 S 865-134
 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1)  
Make sure you supply hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic systems N0. 1, 2, 3, and 4 (Ref 29-11-00/201).

 (2)  
Make sure the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER WING 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches are in the NORM position. These switches are on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).

 (3)  
Do this check on the flap position:

 (a)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND TESTS from the CMC MENU page on the CDU.

 (b)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <22 AUTOPILOT FLT DIR from the GROUND TESTS SYSTEMS page on the CDU.

 (c)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <XDUCER OUTPUTS from the GROUND TESTS MENU page on the CDU.

 (d)  
Continue with the instructions on the CDU to get the values for the flap position.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF
_______ THE LE AND TE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISM BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THESE CONTROL SURFACES CAN MOVE WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (e)  
Set the flap lever to 1 position.

 (f)  
Write down the values for the flap position:

 L ______ , C ______ , R ______ .

 (g)  
Make sure that the three values for the left, center, and right channels are between 0 degree and +2 degrees.

 (h)  
Make sure that the difference of the values between the channels (L-R, R-C,L-C) is less than 0.6 degree.

 (4)  Do the flap transducer test:
 (a)  
Set the flap lever to the FLAP UP position.

 (b)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <FLAP XDUCER from the GROUND TEST MENU page on the CDU.

 (c)  
Continue with the instructions shown on the CDU to complete the test.

 (d)  
Make sure that the FLAP XDUCER test is completed with no failure.


 Q. Automatic Stabilizer Trim Test
