(h) Push the captain's or first officer's autopilot disconnect switch two times.

Remove hydraulic power.

Put the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER WING 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches in the SHUTOFF position. You can find the switches on the Pilot's Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).

Open the circuit breakers that follow and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags. The circuit breakers that follow are on the P180, DC Power Distribution Panel:

180H7, LATERAL CONT VALV SYS 1
(d)
180H23, LATERAL CONT VALV SYS 3

(5) Make a visual inspection of the valves and make sure there are no hydraulic leaks.
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Initial Condition

(1) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close the circuit breakers that follow:
(a) P180, DC Power Distribution Panel:
1) 180E6, LATERAL CONT VALV SYS 2
2) 180E22, LATERAL CONT VALV SYS 4
3) 180H7, LATERAL CONT VALV SYS 1
4) 180H23, LATERAL CONT VALV SYS 3

Put the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER WING 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches in the NORM position. You can find these switches on the Pilot's Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).

Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

ROLLOUT POWER CONTROL PACKAGE AND OVERRIDE MECHANISM -

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains six tasks. The first task is the removal of the Rollout Power Control Package (RPCP) from the vertical stabilizer. The second task is the installation of the RPCP on the vertical stabilizer. The third task is the removal of the override mechanism from the support structure in the vertical stabilizer. The fourth task is the installation of the override mechanism on the support structure in the vertical stabilizer. The fifth task is the procedure to adjust the RPCP and the override mechanism. The sixth task is the operational test of the RPCP.
B. You can find the three RPCPs in the vertical stabilizer, forward of the rudder hinge and aft of the rear spar. The left RPCP (B7087) is on the top, the center RPCP (B7088) is on the middle, and the right RPCP (B7089) is at the bottom.
C. The override mechanism is attached to the support structure by a bonded-bolt assembly. The override mechanism has an input crank cam, output crank, two spring assemblies, follower link assembly, and central shaft.
D. You can get access to the three RPCPs and the override mechanism through the access panels 324EL, 324FL, and 324FR (optional). The access panels are on the vertical stabilizer.
