_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(4) Supply hydraulic power to hydraulic systems 1, 2, and 3
(AMM 29-11-00/201).
C. Valve Test
S 742-080
(1) Do this task: Ground Test - Aileron Servo (AMM 22-10-00/501)
(a)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to < SERVO-AILERON.
(b)
Continue with the instructions shown on the CPU until this message shows: ENGAGE AUTOPILOT L C R TO CMD POSITION.
(c)
Push the center autopilot CMD button on the Mode Control Panel.
(d)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <CONTINUE.
(e)
Make sure that these messages show:
ENGAGE FAIL RIGHT
ENGAGE FAIL LEFT
(f)
Continue with the instructions on the CDU to complete the test.
(g)
Make sure that the SERVO-AILERON test is completed with no failure for the center channel.
NOTE: An autopilot disconnect warning will occur at the end
____ of this test, which is permitted.
(h) Push the captain's or first officer's autopilot disconnect switch two times.

Open the circuit breakers shown below and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P180, DC Power Distribution Panel
1) 180E6, LATERAL CONT VLV SYS 2

3) 180E22, LATERAL CONT VLV SYS 4
4) 180H23, LATERAL CONT VLV SYS 3

Put the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER WING 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches to the SHUTOFF position. The switches are found on the Pilots Overhead Maintenace Panel (P461).

Make a visual inspection of the valves to make sure there are no leaks.
D. Put the airplane back to its initial condition.
