Write down the value for the elevator surface position: ______ DEG.
(h)
Make sure that the value for the left channel is -2.9 degress maximum.
(i)
Make sure that the control column stays at the positive limit and the AUTOPILOT DISC does not show on the main EICAS display.
(j)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE to go back to the POSITIVE LIMIT and NEGATIVE LIMIT page.
(k)
Push the LSK adjacent to <ADVANCE to complete the test.
NOTE: An autopilot disconnect warning will occur at the end
____ of this test which is permitted.
(l) Push the autopilot disconnect switch (captain's or first officer's) two times.

SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS,
ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS
CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN
CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Make sure you supply hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic systems N0. 1, 2, 3, and 4 (Ref 29-11-00/201).

Make sure the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches are in the NORM position. These switches are on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).

Set the flap lever in the FLAP UP position.

Set the aileron trim to the center position:
(a)
Operate the trim switch until the rig pin A/S-2 can go into the rig hole freely (Ref 27-11-08/201).
(b)
Remove the rig pin.

(a) Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND TEST from the CMC MENU page on the CDU.
