Remove the hydraulic pressure from the applicable system (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Put the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER WING 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches in the SHUTOFF position. The switches are on the Pilot's Overhead Maintenance Panel, P461.

CAUTION:_______DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID GET INTO THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR. CONTAMINATION BY HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE AND FAILURE OF THE ELECTRICAL DEVICE.
(1)
Remove the covers from the electrical and hydraulic openings. Clean the mating surfaces of the valve, gasket plate and CLCP with clean hydraulic fluid.

Apply a thin layer of MCS352 lubricant on the new seal plate and O-ring.

Install the new O-ring on the valve (AMM 20-11-19/401).

Apply a thin layer of grease (MIL-G-23927) on the mounting screws.

Install the gasket plate on the CLCP.

Install the valve on the CLCP with the mounting screws and washers.

Tighten the mounting screws to 50-70 pound-inches.

Use a bonding meter to measure the resistance between the valve and the CLCP body. The resistance must be 5.0 milliohms (0.005 ohms) or less (AMM 20-22-01/601).

Put lockwire through the mounting screws (AMM 20-11-28/401).
