Supply hydraulic power to hydraulic system No. 1, 2, and 3.

Set the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches to the NORM position. These switches are on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel, P461.

Do this task: Ground Test - Rudder Servo (AMM 22-10-00/501).

Remove hydraulic power.

Do this leak check:

 (a)  
Set the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL 1, 2, 3, and 4 to the SHUTOFF position. These switches are on the Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel, P461.

 (b)  
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 


 1)  P180, DC Power Distribution Panel a) 180E7, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 2 b) 180E22, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 4 c) 180H8, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 1 d) 180H23, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 3

Visually examine the RPCP to make sure that there are no hydraulic leaks.

 (a)  P180, DC Power Distribution Panel
 1) 180E7, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 2
 2) 180E22, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 4
 3) 180H8, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 1
 4) 180H23, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 3

Install the access panel 324EL, 324EL, and 324FR (AMM 06-09-07/201).

Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 LATERAL AUTOPILOT SERVO FILTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General

 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is the removal of the filter from the Lateral Autopilot Servo (LAS). The second task is the installation of the filter on the LAS.
 B.  You can find the Lateral Autopilot Servo in the left wing gear wheel well, adjacent to the Central Lateral Control Package (CLCP) - right autopilot.
