Push the LSK adjacent to <22 AUTOPILOT FLT DIR from the GROUND TESTS SYSTEMS page on the CDU.
(c)
Push the LSK adjacent to <XDUCER OUTPUTS from the GROUND TESTS MENU page on the CDU.
(d)
Continue with the instructions on the CDU to get the values for the rudder surface position.
(e)
Write down the values for the rudder surface position:
L ______ , C ______ , R ______ .
(f)
Make sure that the values for the left, center, and right channels are between -0.6 degree and +0.6 degree.

(6) Do the rudder servo test:
(a)
Push the LSK adjacent to <SERVO-RUDDER from the GROUND TESTS MENU page on the CDU.
(b)
Continue with the instructions shown on the CDU to complete the test.
(c)
Make sure that the SERVO-RUDDER test is completed with no failure.
NOTE: An autopilot disconnect warning will occur at the
____ end of this test, which is permitted.
(d) Push the captain's autopilot disconnect switch two times.

(7) Do this check on the rudder surface limits:
(a)
Push the LSK adjacent to <RUD SURFACE LIMIT from the GROUND TESTS MENU page on the CDU.
(b)
Continue with the instructions on the CDU until the POSITIVE LIMIT and NEGATIVE LIMIT page is shown.
(c)
Push the LSK adjacent to <POSITIVE LIMIT for the positive surface limit positions.

Write down the values for the rudder surface position:

(e)
Make sure that the values for the left, center, and right channels are +24.0 degrees (minimum).
(f)
Make sure that the rudder pedals stay at the positive limit and the AUTOPILOT DISC does not show on the main EICAS display.
(g)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE on the CDU to go back to the POSITIVE LIMIT and NEGATIVE LIMIT page.
(h)
Push the LSK adjacent to <NEGATIVE LIMIT for the negative surface limit positions.
(i)
Write down the values for the rudder surface position:
L ______ , C ______ , R ______ .
(j)
Make sure that the values for the left, center, and right channels are -24.0 degrees (minimum).
(k)
Make sure that the rudder pedals stay at the negative limit and the AUTOPILOT DISC does not show on the main EICAS display.
(l)
Push the LSK adjacent to <CONTINUE on the CDU to go back to the POSITIVE LIMIT and NEGATIVE LIMIT page.
(m)
Push the LSK adjacent to <ADVANCE to complete the test.
NOTE: An autopilot disconnet warning will occur at the end

(n) Push the captain's disconnect switch two times.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure you supply hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic systems N0. 1, 2, 3, and 4 (Ref 29-11-00/201).
