Apply the external electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Put the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER WING 1, 2, 3, and 4 switches in the NORM position. You can find these switches on the Pilot's Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(4) Supply hydraulic power to hydraulic systems 1, 2, 3, and 4
(AMM 29-11-00/201).
D. Procedure
S 742-102
(1) Do this task: Ground Test - Aileron Servo (AMM 22-10-00/501)
(a)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to < SERVO-AILERON.
(b)
Continue with the instructions shown on the CPU until this message shows: ENGAGE AUTOPILOT LCR TO CMD POSITION.
(c)
Push the applicable autopilot CMD (L or R) button on the Mode Control Panel.
NOTE: Push the L CMD button to do a check on the left CLCP
____ (The left CLCP is in the right wheel well). Push the R CMD button to do a check on the right CLCP (The right CLCP is in the left wheel well).
(d)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <CONTINUE.
(e)
Make sure that no fault message shows for the channel that you engage.
NOTE: Fault messages (ENGAGE FAIL) shown for the other
____ channels that you did not engage is permitted.
(f)
Continue with the instructions on the CDU to complete the test.
(g)
Make sure that the SERVO-AILERON test is completed with no failure for the applicable FCC.
NOTE: An autopilot disconnect warning will occur at the end
____
of this test, which is permitted.
