 Apply a bead seal around the perimeter of the EAS where the EAS touches the mounting surface. Use BMS 5-95 sealant.

 NOTE: There are two procedures you can use to adjust the EAS linkage.
____ The first procedure is to use CMCS - AFDS - Ground Test - XDUCER OUTPUTS. The second procedure is to use a phase synchronous voltmeter.

Supply hydraulic power to systems 1, 2, and 3 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Set the INBD CRT and LWR CRT switches to the NORM position. You can find these switches on the captain's and the first officer's instrument panels.

Put the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL 1, 2, and 3 switches to the NORM position. You can find these switches on the Pilot's Overhead Maintenance Panel (P461).

Put the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches to the ON position and remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tags. You can find these switches on the Pilots' Control Stand.

 (7)  
Set the stabilizer to six units.

Pressurize the airplane pitot-static system to an airspeed of 320 knots (AMM 34-11-00/201).
