4. Prepare for Removal___________________
A. Before removing any component ensure that the following circuit breakers on P7 panel are open:
On AF ALL EXCEPT 152-199; AZ ALL; IB 401, 402, and 405; LH 001-010, 031-050, 071-081; SN ALL,

DME 1 AC, DME 1 DC, DME 2 AC, DME 2 DC.
On AF 152-199; LH 011-030, 051-070, 082-099; AT ALL; GN ALL; MD ALL; IB ALL EXCEPT 401, 402, and 405; VM ALL

DME 1 AC, DME 2 AC
5. Remove the DME System Components_________________________________
A. Remove DME interrogator.
(1) On DME interrogator located on shelf 6 in the main equipment center electronic equipment rack E3, loosen hold-down fasteners and pull transponder from shelf.
B. Remove DME indicator.

(1) Loosen indicator fasteners, pull unit from console far enough to reach the electrical connectors. Disconnect electrical connectors and remove indicator. Retain fasteners.
