Remove four screws and lockwashers securing waveguide switch to R/T mount.
(6)
Remove waveguide switch and gasket with dummy load attached.
(7)
Remove dummy load, if required, by removing four screws and lockwashers securing dummy load to waveguide.
(8)
Install protective covers on all open waveguide flanges and electrical connectors.
B. On Passenger Airplanes with RDR-1F Weather Radar
(1)
Remove electrical connector from waveguide switch.
(2)
Remove two screws and lockwashers connecting waveguide switch to each R/T feeder waveguide. Do not remove other four screws and lockwashers securing waveguide switch to R/T mount.
(3)
Remove four screws and lockwashers connecting flexible waveguide section from antenna to waveguide switch.
(4)
Move flexible waveguide section from antenna as required to remove waveguide switch.
(5)
Remove four screws and lockwashers securing waveguide switch to R/T mount.
(6)
Remove waveguide switch and gasket with dummy load attached.
(7)
Remove dummy load, if required, by removing four screws and lockwashers securing dummy load to waveguide.
(8)
Install protective covers on all open waveguide flanges and electrical connectors.
C. On Passenger Airplanes with Bendix RDR-4A Weather Radar
(1)
Remove electrical connector from waveguide switch.
(2)
Remove four screws and lockwashers connection waveguide switch to each R/T feeder waveguide.
(3)
Remove four screws and lockwashers connecting R/T mount waveguide section to waveguide switch.
(4)
Remove waveguide switch and gasket.
(5)
Install protective covers on all open waveguide flanges and electrical connectors.
D. On Freighter Airplanes with RCA AVQ-30X Weather Radar
(1)
Remove electrical connector from waveguide switch.
(2)
Remove four screws and lockwashers connecting waveguide switch to each flexible R/T feeder waveguide.
(3)
Remove four screws and lockwashers that secure the waveguide switch to the waveguide switch support bracket.
(4)
Move flexible R/T feeder waveguides, as required, to remove waveguide switch, gaskets, and dummy load.
(5)
Remove dummy load, if required, by removing four screws and lockwashers securing dummy load to waveguide.
(6)
Install protective covers on all open waveguide flanges and electrical connectors.
E. On Freighter Airplanes with Bendix RDR-1F Weather Radar
(1)
Remove electrical connector from waveguide switch.
(2)
Remove two screws and lockwashers connecting waveguide switch to each R/T feeder waveguide. Do not remove other four screws and lockwashers securing waveguide switch to R/T mount No. 1.
(3)
Remove four screws and lockwashers connecting flexible waveguide section from antenna to waveguide switch.

Move flexible waveguide section from antenna, as required, to remove waveguide switch.
(5)
Remove four screws and lockwashers securing waveguide switch to R/T mount No. 1.
(6)
Remove waveguide switch and gasket with dummy load attached.
(7)
Remove dummy load, if required, by removing four screws and lockwashers securing dummy load to waveguide.
(8)
Install protective covers on all open waveguide flanges and electrical connectors.
F. On Freighter Airplanes with Collins WXR-700X Weather Radar
(1)
Remove electrical connector from waveguide switch.
(2)
Remove four screws and lockwashers connecting waveguide switch to each R/T feeder waveguides.
(3)
Remove four screws and lockwashers connecting R/T mount waveguide section to waveguide switch.
(4)
Remove four screws and lockwashers securing waveguide switch to R/T mount.
(5)
Remove waveguide switch and gasket.
(6)
Install protective covers on all open waveguide flanges and electrical connectors.
