Repeat step (b) for the spare key. Verify that the center bar on the spare key does not illuminate and the MODE display on the LI does not change from the last displayed mode.

Press and release ENGINE RATING I key on the LSP. Verify the key is illuminated and the RTG display on the LI reads the selected rating on the illuminated key.

Press and release ENGINE RATING II key. Verify ENGINE RATING I key is extinguished and ENGINE RATING II key is illuminated. Also verify that the RTG display on the LI reads the selected rating on the illuminated key.
(8)
On IB airplanes, press and release ENGINE RATING II key. Verify that ENGINE RATING I and ENGINE RATING II keys are both extinguished and the RTG display on the LI reads '7Q'.
(9)
On AF airplanes, press and release ENGINE RATING II key. Verify that ENGINE RATING I and ENGINE RATING II keys are both extinguished and the RTG display on the LI reads '50E2'.
(10)
If the PMS is no longer required, restore airplane to normal.

H. Annunciator Lamp Test
(1)
If required prepare for test as described in paragraph D.
(2)
Hold the IND LIGHTS switch (P5 panel) in the TEST position, and verify the following:
(a)
VERT ALERT (amber) annunciators on the pilot's panels illuminate.
(b)
PMS (amber) annunciator on the pilot's center instrument panel illuminates.
(c)
On AF airplanes; plus IB airplanes incorporating SB 34-2193, PATH ARM (amber), PATH (green), SPD ARM (amber), SPEED (green) and T/HOLD (green) annunciators illuminate, on each PMS mode annunciator module (P72 panel).
(3)
Return the IND LIGHTS switch (P5 panel) to the BRIGHT position.
(4)
If the PMS is no longer required, restore airplane to normal.
