Do a test of the blower assembly on the R/T mount:
(a)
Push the PUSH TO TEST BLOWER switch. 1) Make sure the blower comes on.
(b)
Release the PUSH TO TEST BLOWER switch. 1) Make sure the blower goes off.

Do this task to install the left WXR R/T on the E5-1 shelf assembly: Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter Removal (AMM 34-43-02/401).
(11)
Do this task to install the right WXR R/T on the E5-2 shelf assembly: Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter Installation (AMM 34-43-02/401).
(12)
FREIGHTER AIRPLANES; Install the cargo floor panels on the floor beams above the receiver/transmitters.
(a)
Put the center cargo floor panel on the floor beams.
(b)
Tighten the eight fasteners that hold the center floor panel.
(c)
Put the right cargo floor panel on the floor beams.
(d)
Tighten the five fasteners that hold the right cargo floor panel.

WEATHER RADAR R/T MOUNT FILTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
A. This subject has two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the weather radar (WXR) R/T mount filters. The second task is for the installation of the R/T mount filters. The removal task for the R/T mount filter has these parts:
(1)
Remove the right WXR receiver/transmitter
(2)
Remove the left WXR receiver/transmitter
(3)
Remove the R/T mount filter(s).
B. The installation task for the R/T mount filter has these parts:
(1)
Install the R/T mount filter(s)
(2)
Install the left WXR receiver/transmitter
(3)
Install the right WXR receiver/transmitter
(4)
Do a test on the weather radar system.
C. The filters are part of the dual R/T mount attached to the E5 electronic equipment rack. The R/T mount and E5 rack is in the right crawlway forward of the main equipment center.

C. Procedure
(1)
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) WX RDR R/T 1
2) WX RDR R/T 2
3) WX RDR IND 1
4) WX RDR IND 2
(2)
Open the access door to the 117AL electronics compartment to get to the R/T mount filters (AMM 06-09-01/201).
(3)
Do this task to remove the left WXR receiver/transmitter from the E5 equipment rack: "Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter Removal" (AMM 34-43-02/401).
(4)
Do this task to remove the right WXR receiver/transmitter from the E5 equipment rack: "Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter Removal" (AMM 34-43-02/401).
(5)
Do these steps to remove each of the R/T mount filters:
(a)
Remove the two knobs and four washers from the filter enclosure.
(b)
Remove the filter cover.
(c)
Remove the filter assembly.
(d)
Remove the filter from the filter bracket.
